About this cabin rental
If you're coming to the hill country to really get away from the city life and soak up some country quiet, then the Guesthaus at Whitetail Oaks may be the Fredericksburg rental you've been looking for! This simple but spacious cabin is located about 15 minutes northwest of downtown Fredericksburg and is nestled on about 20 acres near the historic Cherry Springs community. Guests enjoy a comfortable king size bed, corner whirlpool tub for two in the bath, an electric ambience fireplace, mini-kitchen and a great view from the porch rockers. Perhaps the Guesthaus' most unusual feature, however, is the outdoor shower plus private hot tub. Now that's something you won't find every day! You will find a TV and Blue-ray player but no cable reception...remember, this is why you headed to the country! Bring along some DVD's however and enjoy a lazy morning sleeping in. For country peace with city comforts, the Guesthaus at Whitetail Oaks is hard to beat! NO PETS

Cute property. Nice location for us. Note there is no wifi, no phone service. To me this was nice. But its remote and somewhat off grid. Has most everything youd need other than a way to cook inside if it rains. As it is you cook outside on a park styled grill and bring food inside. It was fine given good weather. I actually enjoyed doing it. Only downside is the feral cats which pester you for food nonstop. Other than that it was nice. Id gladly go again.

The cabin was private and peaceful. It definitely gave my husband and me the long weekend to focus on each other and get away from the hustle bustle of life and children.

Great little get away for the wife and me. Very secluded area, great views of the night sky. Very clean cabin with good heat or cooling, since the weather lately has been flipping. Fredricksburg is an easy 15 minute drive away, so plenty of shopping and dining. Will book again when we need a break from everyday life.

Our stay was wonderful. Enjoyed the comfy furniture, fireplace, hot tub, fire pit, rockers, and more. Great place to relax but not far from town either. While there was no stove to cook on in the kitchen, we did fine with outdoor cooking. However, we would have liked more cooking pans, utensils (esp knives!), a toaster and other items that would make meals a little easier. Overall great stay and great outdoor features. We loved the gazebo.
