While this important work will be underway for several months, we want to assure visitors that most of the beach will remain open, and disruptions will be brief and minimal. You can expect beach renourishment to begin at the northern end of the project area and progress southward. Work in the city of Myrtle Beach is scheduled to start in February 2026 and conclude by mid-July 2026. Work in Surfside Beach and Garden City Beach begins mid-July 2026

The location was great. You’re only on the 3rd floor, so times when elevators are busy the stairs is ok too. We found out the renaissance tower is on 33 acres that you have full access to. Other pools, splash pad, lazy River, even a water park. The staff were all very nice. The condo had plenty of space for us. Will definitely be back.
