About this house rental
Duneside Cottage (formerly known as "Sea Ya Later") is a quaint gulf front home with two bedrooms plus a sleeping loft. Situated at the north end of the Cape; it’s a short bike ride to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, and just a few steps to the sand and water’s edge. Swim, kayak, paddle board and play in the Gulf and Bay.
The kitchen and both bathrooms were completely remodeled in December 2021! This included all new cabinets, fixtures, tile, stainless appliances and unique finishes. Stay tuned for more upgrades as this owner continues to invest in this outstanding property!
*Most gulf front homes are much larger and made for well, large groups. Typically, in order to find a beach front home this size you must choose a condo and give up some privacy. This home offers the independence of a private home at a price a single family or two couples can afford. This is also a perfect design for our snow birds in the winter.
*The deck offers both covered and sunny spaces with a great outdoor eating bar. There is a short, private boardwalk to the beach.
*We've also included a $250 VayK Gear credit to be used toward bikes, boards, chairs and umbrellas. Your gear will be delivered prior to your arrival and picked up when you leave.

Everything was excellent: proximity to beach, kitchen supplies, cleanliness, host, everything. But the house had very subpar furniture. I would probably say the furnishings came from yard sales. Would I stay there again…Absolutely! We go for the beach, furniture is secondary!

Loved the location and the size of the house for our stay. House was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and house was clean. We enjoyed our evenings on the back deck with a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean.

The location is great if you are looking to be right on the beach without obstructed views. It was very convenient to just get down the stairs from the deck and be on the beach. The only issue was construction of a unit to the left of the house, so 4 out of 5 days of our stay we had to hear construction noise. The house is perfect size for a family of 4-5. the bathrooms and kitchen were in good condition and offered everything you need for a week's stay. The most wear of this property showed on the outside, the deck is getting pretty warn out. Other than that, this was perfect for us travelling with the dog and wanting a relaxing beachside escape. The area is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing trip especially if you are brining your pet. This is a perfect spot for your pet. All in all, I will give it 9.5 out of 10.

Quaint little cottage directly on the beach. Super clean! Has all of the amenities you could need. Donna and Brian at Be Our Guest always make every part of our trip so easy. Beautiful beach with easy access to all necessities. We will definitely visit again!
