About this house rental
Feel like your living in a tree house. Located 10 minutes from I75, near The Villages Community and other attractions. Bring your Kayak, Canoe or rent one from a nearby rental location. Make sure you have a fishing pole and license to fish for bass, catfish and bluegill from two docks (one river, one canal) or just enjoy the fire pit or sit on the porch and watch the sunset.

Two ring cameras located on lower level outside only, one aimed at driveway, on at the canal.
Lower level is used for storage only. It is not included in the rental.

We love this location on the Withlacoochee River with an excellent dock to launch a canoe or kayak. Lots of birds and other wildlife ( family of otters seen several times). Quiet street with the home on the end of the cul de sac. Have stayed here three or four times. Midway between The Villages and Inverness where abundant shopping is located. Just down the road from Lake Panasoffkee where one finds dollar stores, post office, pharmacy and restaurants. Good walking in nearby Wildlife Management Areas. Responsive host to any issues that might come up.

We enjoyed the water views and the nature around the property. It was very convenient to most places of interest in central Florida, either coast.
The accommodations were very homey and comfortable. The conveniences were greatly appreciated. Especially the washer and dryer and Keurig coffee maker.

Being a cooler January, we were still able to enjoy the outdoors with the great fire pit. Some of our best days were spent outside with a fire and fishing off the two docks. It was nice to watch the birds and otter and the great sunset in the evening. However, the airboats on the river can be a little busy and loud but mainly just on Saturdays. The house had everything we needed for our month long stay. The host was excellent and seemed to really appreciate us as guests.
