Completely renovated in 2021, this house has been finished with care and attention to detail using high-quality materials, giving it a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. It is perfect for two couples who want to enjoy a well-earned holiday together. The house features two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet, ensuring privacy and convenience. One of the bathrooms is equipped with a luxurious hot tub, ideal for a relaxing moment after a day of adventure. The sunny terrace with breathtaking views of the old castle is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening while the sun sets. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed for a carefree stay, including a dishwasher, wine glasses, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a coffee machine and a kettle. Whether you plan to cook your own meals or explore the local gastronomy, The Cave provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday. This place has been very beautifully renovated and it was overall sufficient for our trip. The location is 10/10 and walkable to everything in town and even has a very nice view of the castle. While there was salt, pepper, and a few other spices, there was no coffee, tea, shampoo, or even hand soap in the bathrooms (only 1 of 2 bathrooms had it and there was only dish soap in the kitchen). With such a late check-in at 5 pm, it's a little frustrating to have to run out to the store for basic amenities that most home stays and hotels have these days. I shouldn't have to buy hand soap for the bathroom for a 3-night stay (or bring it with me). The place itself is very nice, but it also has a bit of a cold feeling. Some artwork on the walls or a few other homely touches would make it feel more relaxing and cozy. It's also not the most toddler-friendly place with many narrow stairs, automatic lights in the hallway, and showers in the bedrooms (my toddler slipped and fell when the floor was wet, but it was in the bedroom and a bit harder to prevent). There is a gate at the top stairs, but our toddlers could still crawl through the bars, so we had to watch them very carefully in the only living area space. But despite the drawbacks, we still managed okay with the kids and really enjoyed our stay. I just think it's a homestay better suited for 4 adults with no kids :)
