Welcome to Cowboy Heaven Cabin - The Lookout!
There's no better way to enjoy an out-west adventure in Montana than to stay in " The Lookout" Cowboy Heaven Cabin. Enjoy excellent ski-in/ski-out to the Powder River ski run, accessing all of Big Sky's skiable terrain via the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts. Return home from a great day on the slopes or a day exploring in Yellowstone and indulge yourself with the beverage of your choice while soaking in the spectacular mountain views from the private outdoor hot tub on the front porch.
The Lookout Cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, full bath, and flat screen TV. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with twin over queen beds and flat screen TV. There is a gas fireplace (stove) and large flat screen TV in living room. The full kitchen opens to the dining area and living room and is fully equipped with all appliances, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There is parking directly next to the cabin for our guests only.
Winter
Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world-class spa experiences are all within easy reach.
Summer
The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.

For safety, please only open windows while you are present on the property.

Very nice property. Ample room and amenities for the three of us. Amazing view from the deck. Excellent communication with the host. We arrived about 30 minutes prior to scheduled check-in. One text message to the host and we were granted access within minutes. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great family stay! Our son works on the mountain so it was wonderful to have a warm and welcoming place to come home to and gather after a day of skiing. We used gourmet gals for our dinners so I had a chance to participate in the festivities too! I would highly recommend them too! It is a heat and serve service and they drop the food off and place it in your fridge. My personal favorites were the wild mushroom lasagna and the pulled pork. The Mac and cheese was a little too bland for my personal preference. The view from the hot tub were amazing! I got to taking my coffee in the hot tub while I watched the sunrise! Great way to loosen up the muscles and get ready for an aggressive day of skiing.

The cabin location and Mountain View’s were fantastic. The cabin needs a deep cleaning. The bedrooms and bathrooms need a deep cleaning. Saw spiders and bugs on rugs daily. The fees for cleaning should be refunded because place seemed picked up but not really clean including the sheets.
