About this farm stay rental
El Capitan is a combination of old and new. A 50+ year old train car that has been stylishly renovated. Modern amenities along with western decor. A large glass overhead door allows you to sit in the comfort of "home" while viewing the wide open spaces. And sunsets for miles!

We stayed at the Super Chief last year and knew we wanted to come back this year and stay at El Capitan! Becky the host has everything in the train car that you would need for a relaxing stay.. We usually stop at the grocery store before going out to the train because it isn't super close for shopping.. The peace and quiet is wonderful and her dogs are so sweet...

The dogs, horses, wild birds, and especially the humans here all made us feel very welcome. The train car is so cool! It's very comfortable, charmingly decorated, and easy to find. We especially enjoyed sitting outside after dark and watching the stars and far-off thunderstorms. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a comfortable spot with great amenities, this is the place to go.

Property allowed Pete to run around with the hosts pets, it was a very unique stay that provided a lot of comfort for the money spent. Becky was very communicative and friendly as well as providing snacks and drinks at the rental.
