Close to the beach. Loved having a pool to relax in. Great decor.

This is a beautifully remodeled two-bedroom, ground floor, private, mostly quiet four-plex beach villa with two pools. You only share the pool with one other unit, there are tons of chairs, a few umbrellas, and the gate is easy to access. The shaded outdoor area seats at least six, there's a small cafe table by the grill that seats two, and then a screened in porch that also seats two. Inside you have a large round table with four comfy chairs, a queen sofa sleeper couch, a side chair, coffee table, an ENORMOUS TV, the kitchen is brand new, all appliances are spotless, quartz countertops, plantation shutters, etc. The bathrooms are very nicely updated, the king and queen beds quite comfortable, ample inside storage with a walk-in closet in the larger bedroom. Parking close to the unit, the outdoor closet has a wagon so that's helpful for loading/unloading, plus four nice beach chairs, pool noodles, sand toys, skim board, etc. Being there on Memorial Day weekend, though, it was loud at night at other units (not LuLu's!), fireworks going off in the middle of the night, the most crowded beach I have ever been to in my life, six-families deep in front of each part of the Gulf. There's a large hotel that takes up more real estate on this strip of beach than the public access, so get down there VERY early for cabana/umbrella set up. A longer walk to the beach than expected, so that was our biggest drawback. Overall: good value for a well decorated higher-end space in Siesta Key!

We had a great weekend visiting a longtime friend. The two bedrooms being able to be en-suite was perfect for us. Easy lounging by the pool and short walk to beach and trolley. Our dog enjoyed her stay and went to the dog beach down in Venice.
