The Whiskey Barrel – Property Highlights
Whiskey Barrel is a one-of-a-kind stay! Originally a vintage 1979 Marshfield mobile home, it has been completely transformed into a cozy, cabin-inspired retreat. With thoughtful renovations—including added living space, sheetrock walls, and hardwood floors—it is warm, inviting, and full of character.
Perched among the cypress trees, the cabin offers peaceful views from nearly every room, where you can relax and watch the Spanish moss gently sway in the breeze.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms: 4 bedrooms, 2 baths.
Please note that the 4th bedroom is a very small room connected to Bedroom 3. It accommodates the bunk bed and an armoire, creating a cozy sleeping space that’s best suited for children or guests who don’t mind a compact room.
Living Spaces: Living room, dining room, kitchen with bar, and a sitting area overlooking the cypress trees and lake.
Expansive Decks: 4 decks total – 2 upper decks adjacent to the house and game room, a spacious lower deck, and a deck above the boathouse for relaxing and boat watching
Hot Tub & Seating: Deck includes hot tub and outdoor seating
Separate Game Room: Big-screen TV, large leather sectional with power recliners, foosball table, slot machine, and full-sized fridge/freezer

Nice/clean/comfortable property for our small family to celebrate a birthday. Good communication with the host. Great view of the water and the many boats up and down the river (Memorial Day weekend). All the amenities that you need. Gas grill in good condition for our steaks and burgers. We didn’t use the game room but looked to be a nice addition. Same for the kayaks/hot tub/fire pit. We tried to keep our fishing boat at the dock but just too many boaters and constant wakes/waves to store safely (due to holiday weekend traffic). The public ramp nearby needs some TLC but was doable. Overall a nice place and would visit again. The whiskey barrel mind game puzzle was a hit!

Super clean & cute lake house! We enjoyed a relaxing weekend just sitting in the hot tub watching the boats go by. Great place to unplug and recharge.
