About this house rental
Truly a one of kind vacation rental on a large lot overlooking Echo Lake and plenty of space home for everyone to relax with most rooms enjoying a meadow or lake view.
This home has 4 bedrooms, a den, a living room, sun room, dining and kitchen areas and lots of shaded decks. Just a few miles to downtown Pagosa Springs and about 25 minutes to the Wolf Creek Ski Basin.
As you walk in the home, you'll immediately realize you chose the right home. The living room is comfortable, spacious, has a gas fireplace, large TV and open to the dining area and kitchen. Just off the living room is a nice sun room with large windows overlooking the lake where you can watch the deer roam and might even spot the bald eagles the live there. The sun room opens on to the a covered deck that wraps around most of the home with relaxing furniture and BBQ. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing your favorite meals and plenty of space to hang out while you cook! On this floor is a powder room and laundry area.
Up-stairs is a spacious king bed master suite with more views, large walk in closet and private full bathroom. There is also a day bed that is perfect for those with a little one that needs to be close by. Downstairs from the living area is a den with walk out to patio, TV and gas stove. On this floor is 3 more bedrooms 2 with queen beds and 1 with a full bed and they both share a full bathroom with 2 sink areas, walk in shower and private commode room. This home has on demand water heater.
The owners installed heat pumps on both the main living floor and top floor in 2026, providing both heating and air conditioning for those areas. Also, they installed a new furnace on the downstairs floor in 2026 to efficiently heat that floor (and where they have found air conditioning is not needed).
All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.
This home does not allow pets and is non-smoking.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife requires a fishing license or state wildlife area pass to fish in or visit the adjacent Echo Canyon Reservoir State Wildlife Area (per its policies for all SWA's in Colorado).

The host was excellent and communication was great. The home location was perfect and beautiful. The home was clean and everything worked well. Home was nice and cozy.

Beautiful home and a great location with views of the lake. Main level and master have been updated, but basement needs a little TLC. I gave the home a 4 because the bedding all needs an upgrade, and the weeds need addressed. Overall, the home is great! Bring a paddle board if you have one! You can def walk all the way around the lake…great hike!
