About this cabin rental
Classic Colorado mountain cabin! Whiskey Rapids is tucked beneath the Twin Sister Peaks on 2.5 peaceful acres—perfect for unplugging, relaxing, and soaking up that fresh mountain air. You'll have plenty of room to spread out with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a washer/dryer and a fully stocked kitchen for easy meals at home. When you're ready to explore, you're close to all the best local adventures: only 25 minutes to Salida, 45 minutes to Monarch Mountain for that all-natural Colorado powder, and just minutes from the Gold Medal waters of the Arkansas River.
**During winter months it is HIGHLY encouraged that guest have all wheel drive vehicles and/or snow chains. Pinon Vacation Rentals is not responsible for providing any type of towing services.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.
Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.
All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.
~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.
**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.
Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Host was excellent with easy communication. Cabin was perfect for two couples & being dog friendly scored high for us when pets are our family. Had a great weekend getaway with awesome view of the mountains.

Great little cabin in the middle of nowhere, perfect for what my wife and I were trying to do - just get away from everyone for a few days! We brought our dogs, but please note that they do charge a per dog, per night fee even though that's not listed in their description. I emailed them ahead of our stay to confirm we could have multiple dogs with us, which they agreed to, but then after booking I was asked to pay more fees which seemed a bit off. I agreed to only pay the fee for a single dog and it worked out.The cabin itself is great, sitting at around 7500' elevation. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and never leave. The outdoor bbq grill was nice to have. The bed was comfy, multiple bathrooms was nice. We never used the loft, as it was just my wife and I. I can imagine the place is pretty hot during the summer months w/o A/C, but we were comfortable with some windows open and the fans on during our stay near the end of May.The projector was an OK touch, but don't expect like 4K HDR quality or anything. If it were my place I'd just hang a regular TV on the wall. We watched some movies and a few NBA/NHL games on it, it did the job. But I'd set your expectations low for it. I'm technically inclined so setting it up wasn't hard. Lots of deer walking by daily! We took the dogs for a walk or two every day, there's a nice 1.5-2 mile loop you can do around the dirt roads of the development with some nice elevation gains. Would stay again!
