Nestled on 25 acres of active wildlife managed preserve, your perfect summer getaway starts here. Grab your morning coffee on the front porch, then head out for a day on the water—we are just minutes from beautiful Lake Somerville for boating, fishing, and swimming. When you aren't on the lake, our central location puts you just 20 minutes from Kyle Field, 25 minutes from Brenham, and 45 minutes from antiquing in Round Top. Come relax, explore, and enjoy the best of historic east Texas!

Beautiful location and so peaceful. House is just as pictured, great set up, everything you need to be comfortable. We had fun feeding the fish and visiting outside.

Our stay at The Grove was absolutely fantastic! The home was exactly as described and was impeccably clean upon arrival. We especially loved the view from the front porch & how secluded it was. Rachel & Dugger were wonderful hosts, providing clear check-in instructions and quick responses to our questions. The location was perfect for exploring & relaxing! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing/adventurous getaway!
