I stayed at The Core in Kohima (High School Junction) on 31st May - 1st June 2026 and had a very pleasant, memorable stay. The location is prime and super convenient for exploring the city, yet peaceful enough for a restful night. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out. For any traveler looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay in Kohima with great service and a great location, I’d highly recommend The Core. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
What I liked most about The Core was the ambience. It has a calm, understated charm - modern interiors, warm lighting, and a peaceful vibe that instantly feels welcoming. The space feels thoughtfully designed, not flashy, which makes it easy to unwind after a day out in Kohima. Cleanliness was another big plus. The room was fresh, well-kept, and the bathroom was spotless. You could tell the housekeeping team puts real care into maintenance.
The staff and accessibility also stood out. The team was genuinely hospitable - polite, responsive, and helpful without hovering. Check-in was quick and smooth. Location-wise, it’s super accessible. Prime spot in Kohima, easy to reach from main roads, close to markets and local spots, yet quiet enough to rest well. For a hotel that gets the basics right - good vibes, cleanliness, warm service, and a convenient location - The Core is a great pick.
