Spacious clean bedroom. Basic but clean bathroom with hot water and good plumbing. Some of the staff were helpful and knowledgeable; others were not ..
Location - small lane off a main road. This particular property is located in the rear half of a building, with an older separate lodge/function hall (both belonging to the same owner apparently) - with 'no signboard or other indication from the road that the Maharani Grand is inside the same building'! Being a new property, bystanders on the street were not aware of its existence.
Wifi did not work in the room I was in; some local connectivity issue.
Some of the staff were surly and not interested, or adequately trained, in their job. Others tried their best to make up for this.
There is no restaurant or dining room as such. They did have room service with a basic menu, but were prompt and willing to provide (basic) alternatives if requested.
The overall feel is more like a lodge or guest house than a standard hotel.
