Spacious apartment in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk from the train station and a short walk down to the lakefront. The apartment was easy to find, and check in and out was simple and straightforward. There is a Coop a couple of minutes walk away towards the station and the apartment has all the necessary cooking and kitchenware needed, making it easy to cook and eat in if preferred. Despite the central location, the surrounding area is very quiet, with little street noise. As the apartment is on the ground floor it was easily accessible with luggage, with just a few steps up to the front door. The only minor negatives were that the apartment was quite warm, but that is to be expected in the summer and fans were provided to help cool the rooms down, plus the beds were a little too soft for our liking but again that is just personal preference. Would recommend this apartment when staying in Montreux.

Overall, the apartment was clean and well-maintained. The furniture was in good condition, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. Distance to train station not far too.
However, there were several downsides. There is no lift, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up to the second floor. The apartment also has no air conditioning or even a fan, which made it quite uncomfortable. The toilet was extremely small and cramped—you could barely turn around without bumping into the walls.
The biggest issue was the noise. Since the apartment is on the second floor with very poor soundproofing, we could hear people talking loudly throughout the night. There was still a lot of noise even at 4 a.m., making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Our two-night stay was exhausting because we barely managed to rest.
