We absolutely loved our stay at The Lake House. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home—cozy, very clean, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. The host was thoughtful and clearly put care into making the space welcoming and relaxing. It was wonderfully quiet, which made it the perfect place to rest after long days exploring the Mt. Shasta area. The location was excellent, surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to Lake Shastina. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Comfortable and well appointed
There was no lake, contrary to the description and the name. Apparently the lake is a reservoir that is drawn down by August. Probably wouldn’t have stayed there if we had known.
