The space is incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The deck looks directly into trees and provides an excellent opportunity to decompress. There are chickens and goats on the property that are free to roam. Though I enjoyed their company, expect the goats to keep you up at night if they end up liking you as they slept outside my door and got up to move around throughout the night which will interrupt your sleep as their feet and the deck create noise. I'm sure that the host can help with that if you reached out. I happened to enjoy their company so I never mentioned it.

Way off the beaten path, this small, cozy cabin was exactly the relaxing and private getaway I was looking for. I hiked at Beuscher State Park on my way in, but didn't go back since I was able to walk the 22 acres on the property, with little trails and trees everywhere, it was great. The owners live on the property as well, but I never saw them, giving me plenty of privacy. The chickens and three goats were fun to have around, but they left me alone if I ignored them.

I was out here on a work trip - great location for a quick trip. Just the correct size for one person. And the goats are amazing!!!
