After some initial problems getting in, the apartment was very comfortable.

Close to the centre of Calgary, but quiet - except for police/ambulance sirens in the background. Comfy with a nice little balcony. Good security.

We did not receive checkin instructions and had difficulty getting a response on the day. Then Alexa from GlobalStay came on line and sorted things out for us. Took a couple of hours but done.

Unprofessional staff

Actual apartment was stocked up in the kitchen & bathroom- plenty of equipment. They have a sofa bed. Secure location (gated community).

Waited outside the property for 3 hours waiting to be checked in and they sent a $500CAD incidental deposit link 2 hours AFTER supposed check in time. Unprofessional. Room was dirty, had hairs all over and scuffs on the walls. Bed was thin, would not recommend at all

I was called and told to cancel my booking, when I was already there. I still don't know if my money was returned. Like I was promised. The woman who called said if I didn't cancel in their hour policy I would be forfeiting all the money paid.

An expensive, frustrating nightmare resulting in pneumonia.

The price of the room was high compared to many other places my daughter stayed in Calgary. Then after booking, they wanted a $500 deposit, which was supposedly refundable, but eventually they conjured up a false excuse to take $78 away from that. Going through the process to get entrance to the building was incredibly arduous. None of this was revealed until they had my credit card information. My daughter arrived around 5, and it took two hours to go through all the hoops to get in the building including not only her ID and selfie, but mine, and I was 1,500 miles away with no intent to stay there (then or ever). My daughter, being from NZ, told them that she had no wifi and was having difficulty complying with the long list of demands required for entrance (again all this should have been taken care of while booking, not while you're locked out of the building at night). She stood out in the cold for two hours until finally we somehow satisfied them. As a result, she caught cold and ended up with pneumonia. I asked for late checkout since she got into the room so late, but the cleaner arrived promptly at 11. Three days later I was informed of two infractions (1. Unconfirmed late check out at 12 PM and 2. False cleaning call, both never defined or addressed when I questioned them) that would cost me an additional $78. Every other place she stayed had a streamlined process, someone to talk to personally, and reasonable prices. There's really no good reason to stay with this company unless you're desperate.
