I had booked this in a hurry due to some cancellations and changed in plans, and honestly didn’t expect it to be so good. The photos do no justice to how beautiful the place is, especially the view from common area is just so good.
Definitely underrated compared to other hostels in Gangtok. The property manager Dawa Da bhaiya is the absolute sweetest, he makes the stay so comfortable, and helped us get local contacts for exploration etc for cheaper prices than what is being charged outside. Honestly there’s wasn’t a single moment you asked for something and he says no, he does smth and manages to get it done, he even arranged a weighing machine to check our bags before we left for airport and that is just one instance.
I stayed for about a week here and though i could have moved to a different hostel if i wanted to, there wasn’t a single moment i wanted to do so. It felt like home and I am gonna miss it so much now.
Location wise it is very convenient too as Enchey Monastery is very close to it, you get shared cans for 30 to MG Marg.
10/10 city and 10/10 hostel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay ~ Highly Recommended!
My stay at this hostel was truly beyond my expectations. It wasn't just a place to sleep~it became one of the most memorable parts of my Sikkim trip. I met amazing people, made new friends, and created memories that I'll always cherish.
A special mention to Dawa Sir, who made the experience even better. From the day I started my journey to Gangtok, he reached out to guide me on how to reach the hostel and was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about every guest. I really enjoyed our conversations, and his hospitality made me feel at home.
If you're looking for a clean, friendly, and welcoming place to stay in Gangtok, I highly recommend this hostel. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to every traveler visiting Sikkim.
