This cottage is the perfect retreat for you if you want to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and prefer simple but cosy accommodation. Relax with a cup of coffee in the living room, which is cosily furnished with vintage furniture and an impressive wood-burning stove. Cook in the small kitchen and enjoy your meals with a glass of wine.
In the morning, you will be greeted by birdsong on the terrace. Enjoy a hearty breakfast here while savouring the fresh forest air. Your house is located in the Ekesberget Stugby holiday park, surrounded by the beautiful Värmland countryside. The holiday park is an excellent starting point for various activities such as hiking, cycling, kayaking, sailing, horse riding and fishing. In winter you will find a beautiful ski slope just a stone's throw away.
Explore the tranquil Värmland countryside, take a raft trip on the Klarälven or visit the striking wooden church of Ekshärad as a cultural landmark. Enjoy the lakes and forests around Hagfors and Uddeholm, where you can go hiking, fishing or canoeing, or take a swim in Lake Råda. The three towns of Hagfors, Ekshärad and Uddeholm together form a very good starting point if you want to experience the nature of central Sweden and folklore traditions in a relaxed environment.
