If you like football and want to attend a Cowboys game but don’t like to stay in big cities, Rusk is perfect for you. The Cowboys Stadium is only 146 miles away.

We had a great stay and found the home to be exactly as described. It’s clear the owner has recently opened the VRBO and is already putting in the effort to make thoughtful improvements. Martin was incredibly communicative and accommodating throughout our stay, going above and beyond to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly.The location was especially convenient with easy walking distance to the downtown square, local shops and restaurants, and the footbridge. It was perfect for visiting family nearby and also a great home base for exploring East Texas. Though in town for a family funeral, we enjoyed our trip on the Texas State Railroad in Rusk, which was only a 25 minute drive away. Overall, a very positive experience..
