The property is an amazing retreat. We came in when it was raining and foggy. But the next day it eventually stopped and the sun came out. We got to experience the incredible view of the fog and the sunlight. It was so beautiful to see. We eventually got to see the breath-taking view of the ocean from the backyard. I was sold when I saw the photos, but seeing it in person is so much better.
The drive to get there is pretty long and winding. Be cautious because the road has a lot of turns going up and down the mountain. Also there are plenty of wildlife, we saw a lot of deer. We almost hit one when it decided to run across the road right in front of us.
There is a gas station at the grocery store, you will pass it getting to the property and if you have an electric car, there is a level 1 tesla charging station nearby. It took us 5 mins to drive and 30 mins to walk. Black sand beach is close by, beautiful site to see.
The house was clean, and cozy. They responded quickly when I needed anything. They have everything you need, except for a washer and dryer. We didn't need it anyway.
They have plenty of games and movies to watch on the projector. They provided you with plenty of tips and information about the town and activities you can do in the area.
Overall, I recommend staying here. It is a great place to get away and be in nature. It is peaceful and I wish we had taken the time to look around the town. The people were very friendly.

Wonderful new place in Shelter Cove- it was spotless, well equipped, with tv, games, and a lovely walk to see the view right out the back door. Being the off season some things in town were closed, but there was plenty to do and see anyway. Loved it!
