Nice hotel, as usual for a Ibis Hotel. It is located into the hutong, so there are some limits regarding the ease of access or the cleanness of the neighborhood. In the end of the day it was a nice place to stay.
The stuff didn't spoke English.

Location, central Hutong area, close to lot of historical sites like Drum Tower, The Palace,... lot of eateries, convenient shops, Mc Donald and small shop around. You will have Beijing old, traditional vibe in this neighborhood surrounded by a collection of small houses.
Road is a bit small which is sometimes inconvenient for car to arrive for picking up. But somehow all drivers can manage it.
The building is old but room is very clean and comfortable.

Excellent location in a relatively quiet hutong. Near subway and several good shops, restaurants and craft beer bars.
Recommend getting the loft duplex
Walls a little thin. WiFi a bit slow.

The location is great for the drum and bell towers, subway and local food options. Whilst the staff didn’t all speak English they were helpful and attentive. Daily water and cleaning. It’s good value for money versus other options as it’s in a quietly good location
You will have to ask for a room that is definitely not smoking, so expect that in the hotel, typical for China. The bed is not the most comfortable but again is pretty typical for China. There is laundry but it is a small washing machine also used by staff, no dryer available.
