The space
The Mourning Dove Tiny Cabin is a newly-updated cabin, approximately 12’ x 12’ on the inside, with a covered front porch and its own designated outdoor area.
Designed for just two guests, it is furnished with a queen-size bed, countertop bar, bathroom with shower and toilet, and kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, drip coffeemaker, and outdoor area with gas grill (we provide the propane). It has a window A/C/heating unit.
Linens and towels are provided, as well as dishes, silverware, and basic cookware and utensils.
There is a Roku TV and WiFi.
Complimentary coffee and light snacks are provided.
This cabin is small on space, but big in charm!

Great place to stay for visiting Caprock Canyon- just a few miles away on a quiet road outside Quitaque. Cabin is identical to the Sheppard family's properties near Palo Verde Canyon. Small properties with half a dozen cabins, all angled for privacy. Most everything you'll need for a little getaway, and so much more comfortable than your basic hotel/motel places. Highly recommended!

This is a quaint cozy cabin for a quick getaway and close to Caprock Canyon. Even has a goat farm next door. Definitely would come again.Shepherds family also has larger accommodations and RV spots with hookups and another location near Palo Duro Canyon.
