For cleanliness, I would give the apartment 10/10. It was very clean, well-arranged, and a lot of tissues were provided. Communication with the hosts was also excellent. The kitchen was well equipped.wirh everything you will need..

There were several issues that affected our overall experience. When we arrived, there was a noticeable smell in the sitting room, similar to the smell of a house that had been closed or unused for a long time. The beds were another major concern. Two of the rooms had creaking beds, and one of the rooms also had a creaking floor. Unfortunately, two of my children who shared one of the creaking beds could not sleep properly throughout the two nights. Only one of the rooms had a comfortable bed. Most of the items and fittings in the apartment also appeared quite old and worn. The bath cubicle, kitchen pots and some of the doors and handles were particularly disappointing. The kitchen pots did not have lids, which made proper cooking difficult. The microwave and kettle appeared to be among the newer items. The £250 refundable security deposit was also a concern for me. I acknowledge that the deposit requirement was included in the terms and conditions, but unfortunately, I did not read the terms carefully enough before making a non-refundable payment for the apartment. I only became fully aware of the deposit requirement after the booking had been paid for. Having to pay such a substantial refundable deposit naturally raised my expectations regarding the condition and quality of the property. I expected that, given the amount being held as security in case of damage, the furnishings and fittings would be relatively new, delicate, or of high value. Unfortunately, I found that many of the items were quite old and worn. Some of the door handles were also loose and appeared to be giving way when opening or closing the doors. Overall, I felt that the condition of the apartment did not match what I would have expected given the £250 security deposit. There did not appear to be many items that could realistically be damaged or stolen to justify such a high deposit, especially considering the age and condition of many of the furnishings.
