Spacious, light and airy apartment in a lovely natural setting

I travelled by train. The house was 10-15 minutes walk from the station. It was easy to find and I collected the key from the key safe. The house is a traditional wooden Swedish house with a large garden. The apartment was on the first floor. There were also rooms in the attic and ground floor but I think these were being renovated so I had the whole house to myself. The apartment was light and spacious with many windows. It was old-fashioned in a charming way. It was on a hill side so there were beautiful views, trees and birds. I was there during relatively hot weather in June and it was very comfortable. It soon felt like home. I loved staying there because it was so quiet and green..

Its best to visit with the expectation that this is a simple place (but still clean and attractive). It does not have things like TV, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer etc. You normally need to provide your own bedding and towels (but the host kindly found a solution for me). WiFi was also not standard (but the host again kindly found a solution for me). You also have to clean the apartment before you leave. None of this is a criticism because the house description makes these things clear and it keeps the costs down (I was very happy with the price I paid).
