From the moment I set foot in Trang An River View Ecolodge, this wonderful family made me feel like one of their own. They didn't stop pampering me until the moment I left!
The property is nestled in an absolutely breathtaking valley, with scenery that makes your jaw drop at every turn. The accommodation itself is brand new, beautifully appointed and furnished with impeccable taste. It is a truly magical setting.
But what makes this place so special is the young family who runs it. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They are always smiling, genuinely warm and incredibly attentive, providing a level of hospitality that is increasingly rare to find.
Their kindness shone through in so many ways. On my very first night, I managed to get lost on my bike after dark. Without hesitation, they came to my rescue, arriving with big smiles on their faces and making sure I got back safely. That simple act of kindness says everything about the sort of people they are.
I will miss so much about this place: being treated like family, the genuine warmth and kindness, the delicious home-cooked meals lovingly prepared by the wonderful hostess, and the simple joy of playing with the family's little boy.
I arrived expecting a lovely place to stay, but I left with memories of people who made me feel truly at home.
Thank you for a truly wonderful experience that I will cherish for years to come. You have created something very special here, and I cannot recommend Trang An River View Ecolodge highly enough. I hope our paths cross again someday!

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away at the end of a stunning valley the lodge has been built to a fantastic standard. Each cabin is spacious with AC and fans, beautiful large bathrooms and comfortable beds. The owners are a lovely couple who are obviously very proud of their property,and go out of their way to make sure your stay here is perfectly relaxed. They genuinely treat you like part of the family and were constantly giving us free fruit and treats, and even went out a got medicine for my partner who was unwell when we arrived. The meals were large and tasty. Based only 2 KMs from Trang An boat tour, reached easily by bicycle, which are free to use. By far the best place we stayed on our month long tour of Vietnam. Floating in the huge pool watching the goats scaling the cliff face was a great way to end the day. Would return here in a heartbeat. As a side note if visiting Nihn Bihn area you should consider visiting the Bear Sanctuary which is about 30mins from the lodge. They rescue Asiatic bears from bile farms and give them medical treatment and let them live out their lives in a beautiful environment. All money from tickets etc goes to helping save more bears from a life of torture.

Everything, from the movement we first arrived we felt the warmth from Ha and her husband, the lodges are beautiful and clean, AC is perfect and a fan is provided if required. Relaxing on the grounds at night is so relaxing. I can’t say nothing bad about being here. We loved Ha cooking that much we ate here for breakfast and dinner every single day, the food was proper Vietnamese home cooking. We cycled through the countryside using the bicycles provided. Very sad to be leaving Ha and her family. I hope to come back here in the future.

We are a family with two kids (19 year old girl and 16 year old boy). We stayed for eight weeks in Vietnam in the last two years and this place is the most enjoyable we’ve ever stayed at. We’ve seen people calling certain places a hidden gem, for us this is THE Hidden Gem!
We initially looked for a place to stay in Tam Coc, but we are really happy we booked here.
The lodges are really new, clean, spacy and comfortable.
The place and the facilities (including pool) are really nice and clean.
The location is perfect: between a mountain and river, in the middle of many other mountains, ponds and lakes. A quiet location with lots of stunning nature to enjoy and also in the middle of multiple sightseeing locations.
The hosting family is amazing: they are really helpful and focusing on making our stay as great as possible. We noticed they are not pushing to upsell anything, but once asked they assist in a great manner.
They have free bikes for riding around, but we rented electric scooters and electric bikes. Everything we rented was in top condition and the service was great. We loved riding around all the ponds and lakes viewing every mountain, lillies and lotus flowers as long and whenever we wanted. We’ve done 4 days of touring in the area and went to every sightseeing spot we wanted (some spots we even went twice).
Initially we were worried about mosquitos since the place is next to open water, but we hardly saw any at the place.
It is outside any village/city so the place is nice and quiet. We did expect having to go into town for dinner every night, but we were pleasantly surprised about the menu and tasty dishes at the place and also at the restaurant 3 doors down (Trang An Sunrise View & Food and Drink).
We have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels in Vietnam in many locations but we enjoyed this place the most. We can highly recommend this place and also renting the electric scooters/bikes for touring.
