Perched high above the canyon on more than an acre of private mountain land, Red Fox Cabin is a recently remodeled mountain-modern retreat with breathtaking views, abundant wildlife, and plenty of privacy—just 13 minutes from Evergreen Lake.
Designed for both adventure and relaxation, the cabin features rare mountain A/C, two wood-burning fireplaces, a private hot tub, Jacuzzi jetted tub, and upper and lower decks overlooking Evergreen’s beautiful sea of blue and green. Enjoy morning coffee with a view, grill and dine outdoors, relax in the hammock, or gather around the propane fire pit under the stars while watching for deer, foxes, and other wildlife.
Inside, you’ll find new furnishings, a wall of windows, a fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances, coffee and essentials, plus arcade games, shuffleboard, foosball, darts, multiple Roku TVs, and fast Wi-Fi. A dedicated workstation with a desk, monitor and printer makes remote work easy.
The cabin offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a king bed, queen bed, and two queen bunk beds downstairs—giving families plenty of room to spread out while accommodating up to 4 adult guests + children.
Explore nearby hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing, paddle boarding, restaurants, galleries and live music. Spend a day at Red Rocks, Echo Mountain, or Loveland Ski Area, then return home to your own peaceful mountain retreat.

Everything about our stay was exceptional, from the beauty and cleanliness of the property, to everything being well-stocked, to the spectacular views. Most importantly, though, the hosts were outstanding with great communication regarding the reservation and check-in/check out. In addition, we ran into a few snags primarily due to the weather. Without the kindness and caring of the hosts, these items could have easily turned this trip into a negative experience. But with their help in this regard, we barely felt an impact of these items. Thank you to them for outstanding customer service!

We had the best week staying at this beautiful property! The drive to town was quick and there was plenty to do! We enjoyed the scenery, hiking, disc golfing, walking around the Evergreen lake, and the local shops. We indulged in plenty of delicious food and drink as well! The hot tub was the perfect way to end our days. It was a wonderful birthday getaway!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Red Fox Cabin. The listing matched reality exactly—no surprises. The house was very clean, warm, and comfortable, and felt private and peaceful. It’s about 10–15 minutes from town, which was perfect for us.The roads up to the cabin are steep and winding, so just take it slow—totally manageable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the deck was a standout—great views and a perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The fireplace was a real highlight and made the cabin especially cozy.The Genottes were a great host—responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. This place is ideal for couples looking for a quiet mountain getaway. We would absolutely stay here again.
