Located on top of the hill with great views of the city, yet quiet. Exactly what i wanted. The breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner options are good as well.
The resort's staff is very helpful. I was on a work trip and had questions about going to specific locations in the city for meetings. The staff helped me with booking taxis and answered my questions.
Special thanks to the reception team, particularly Ms. Dema, who helped me with a free upgrade to the suite room.
Also, I needed my luggage to be dropped off at an office located in downtown Thimphu after check-out. The resort helped me bring the luggage over in the resort's car for free. This was beyond what I expected them to do. Big thank you.

The hotel has a great location with beautiful views over the whole city of Thimphu. The rooms are cleaned and replenished daily, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
The owner and his family are around the property every day and genuinely care about their guests. The owner even walked with me to a nearby attraction to make sure I found the shortest way there, and his son kindly gave me a lift into the city one day.
There are just a few areas that could potentially be improved. For example, the gym facilities are a bit limited in terms of exercise equipment available. I would also suggest reviewing some items on the food menu, particularly the soups, as they were not quite to my taste. That said, the masala tea, omelette, and toast served in the morning were absolutely delicious.
Lastly, the hot water in my room did not come through on two occasions during my stay. The issue was fixed quickly, but it may be worth checking to help avoid any inconvenience for future guests.
