The Casa Alegre is in my honest opinion, your typical Matagorda River rental home. It's not a new home, but overall, it was clean decent place to stay. it had plenty of room for the 6 of us, and we had a lot of fun. We mostly ate out, but the 2 times we cooked simple meals, the kitchen had all the things we needed. My family and I used the pier out back for fishing and really enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Made memories that will last and that's what matters! *Mosquitos were really bad but that's everywhere along the salt water just make sure you bring repellent.
