This is a fabulous location. Beautiful area with many things to do. We loved the main lodge for coffee and breakfast as well as evening hang-outs. The staff we interacted with was first class! About 1/2 of the rooms in the lodge are being renovated, but they did a nice job of keeping the main lodge area clean and separated from that work. Also loved having horses on the property that we could see at any time right outside our cabin window! Hope to stay here again!

Good location for overnight when transferring from RMNP to Colorado Springs. Beautiful location overall with small short hiking trails around, Beautiful view of the sunset and small lake down the hill. Stuff (owner i believe) was extremely nice and accommodating. I asked for one additional towel as we didn't have enough set up for our group and the owner delivered a whole bunch of extra towels. I also asked for a garbage can and a hair dryer and both were delivered quickly. It's a very nice place overall.
While the suite accommodated our group of seven with plenty of beds, several issues made our stay frustrating. Having only one bathroom for seven people was a major challenge—a suite with multiple rooms and beds really needs a second bathroom. The bathroom itself had extremely dim lighting and an uncomfortably loud exhaust fan.
The rooms had structural and safety concerns as well. One of the top twin bunk beds felt completely unsafe, as it was very shaky and unstable. Furthermore, we were strictly prohibited from using the balcony due to its poor, hazardous condition.
Functionally, the space fell short. There was virtually no seating for a group of our size, and with sparse and some not working at all electrical outlets. However, the property is currently in the renovation phase and we're hoping the issues we faced will be addressed at some point.
