This charming cottage is beautifully situated with a breathtaking view over Lake Mälaren, where the water sparkles in the sunset and a sense of calm sets the tone for your stay. Just a stone’s throw below the house, you’ll find the jetty—perfect for a refreshing morning swim to start the day. The cottage is small but well planned and comfortably accommodates a small family. It features one bedroom with a double bed, as well as a cozy alcove in the living room where the sofa easily transforms at night into a bed for two. The kitchen is fresh and fully equipped, including a dishwasher, making cooking easy and convenient throughout your stay. The bathroom has a shower and is also equipped with a washing machine, allowing you to feel at home even during longer visits. In the living room, there is a TV with an Apple TV connected, making it easy to stream movies and series during relaxed evenings. Outside, there are several patios where you can choose between sun or shade depending on the weather and your mood. There is also a barbecue for preparing dinner while enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the lake view. The location by Lake Mälaren also offers access to a wide range of experiences and excursions nearby. The vibrant city of Stockholm is within easy reach for those who want to experience its culture, restaurants, shopping, and city life. For those wishing to explore the surroundings, there are several popular destinations around Lake Mälaren. You can visit the fairytale-like Gripsholm Castle in the well-preserved wooden town of Mariefred, or explore the charming town of Sigtuna—Sweden’s oldest town.
