Set along the river in San Juan River Village, The Daisy gives you the kind of Pagosa setting people come here hoping to find—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by the San Juan Mountains, yet close enough to town to easily enjoy the hot springs, restaurants, shops, and local favorites.

Some of the best parts of your stay are right outside the door. Cast a line in the river for catch-and-release fishing, try your luck at the community fishing pond where anglers may keep one fish per day, watch for wildlife, or simply slow down and enjoy the sound of the water and fresh mountain air. A valid Colorado fishing license is required.

When winter arrives, Wolf Creek Ski Area is an easy drive for powder days, with a warm cabin waiting afterward. And when the sun goes down, look up—the community’s dark-sky guidelines help preserve the brilliant stars that make nights here something special.

This peaceful neighborhood is shared with year-round residents, and guests are asked to help keep it that way by observing community quiet hours and lighting guidelines.

Guests have private access to the entire home and its outdoor spaces, including the garage, covered deck, private hot tub, and direct access to the San Juan River from the property.

You may also explore the river using designated community access points marked by blue-painted rocks. When fishing or making your way along the water, please respect neighboring properties and avoid crossing through private yards. A good rule of thumb: if your feet are in the water, you’re good.

Guests also have access to the community fishing pond. Please follow posted rules and current fishing regulations.

The Daisy is a two-level log cabin designed to feel open and connected to its riverfront setting. With high ceilings and a dramatic wall of windows, the main living space fills with natural light while framing river and mountain views.

Downstairs, the kitchen, dining area, and living room flow together, making it easy to cook, gather, or settle in by the fireplace without feeling separated from everyone else. The main level also has a private king bedroom with direct access to a full bathroom, plus a laundry room and direct access to the covered deck, hot tub, and river.

Upstairs, the open loft overlooks the living area and windows below. There’s a TV and sitting area here, along with the second king bedroom with direct access to a full bathroom. Starlink Wi-Fi keeps you connected when you want to be.

And then there’s the deck. Covered, comfortable, and overlooking the river, it’s an easy place to lose track of time—morning coffee, dinner outside, a soak in the hot tub, or simply sitting for a while and listening to the water.

Two king bedrooms and two bathrooms give up to four guests their own space, while the open living areas make the cabin feel made for spending time together.

A vehicle is the best way to explore Pagosa Springs and the surrounding area. The home includes on-property parking and garage access, making it easy to come and go throughout your stay.

Downtown, the hot springs, restaurants, shops, trailheads, and other local adventures are all within driving distance.

Weather and road conditions can change quickly, especially in winter. AWD/4WD with appropriate winter tires is strongly recommended during snowy conditions.

Within the neighborhood, please drive slowly and watch for wildlife, pedestrians, and neighbors. The speed limit is 15 mph, and street parking is not permitted.

YEAR-ROUND COMFORT
The home is designed for year-round comfort, with in-floor radiant heat and a fireplace for chilly nights. In warmer months, two efficient evaporative A/C units—one in each bedroom—provide cooling. They use water to cool the air and may occasionally need a quick refill during your stay. Ceiling fans and cool Pagosa evenings help keep the rest of the cabin comfortable, too.

WATER & FILTRATION
The home is supplied by a private well with whole-home reverse-osmosis filtration, plus additional filtration at the refrigerator. Water inside the home is safe to drink. The designated exterior spigot is the one exception—it is non-potable and should not be used for drinking or cooking.

LIVING WITH WILDLIFE
Wildlife is part of life here, and you may be lucky enough to spot some during your stay. Bears are also active in the area, so all trash, food, coolers, and other attractants need to stay secured inside the home or garage—never outside.

YOUNG CHILDREN
With direct river access, multiple levels, and an open upstairs loft, families with young children should consider whether the home is a good fit for their stay. The multi-level layout may also be important to consider for anyone who has difficulty navigating stairs.

DARK SKIES
One of our favorite things about nights here happens after the sun goes down. Local dark-sky guidelines help preserve the incredible stars, so we ask guests to minimize unnecessary exterior lighting at night.
