Nestled in Hohentauern, this lovely chalet for $195 per night is a great option for your next break. This property has been cleaned with chemicals that are effective against Coronavirus. Our staff is following all safety protocols as directed by the local authorities. Physical distancing rules apply for check in and check out. This detached chalet for a maximum of 8 people in the Almdorf Hohentauern is located in the middle of the village of Hohentauern (snow-sure altitude 1300 m) on a sunny slope with impressive panoramic views over the mountains, the ski lift and the village. This beautiful chalet has a spacious living room with seating area and gas fireplace, an open fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 on the ground floor with luxury rain shower and an infrared sauna). From the living room you have access to a large, partially covered sun terrace with garden furniture. The chalet also has a ski storage room, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. You can park directly under the carport at the chalet. There are wonderful views of the mountains from the chalet and from the various terraces. There are even 2 mountain bikes available for active holidaymakers. In winter, Styria turns into Austria's "white heart" with beautiful ski resorts. The Hohentauern ski area with 11 kilometers of slopes is within walking distance (in winter the ski lift is 200m from the chalet), the snow-sure Kreischberg / Murau ski area extends to the neighboring Rosenkranzhöhe and offers a total of 42 kilometers of slopes. In summer, the area is particularly known for its lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The reception at Almdorf Hohentauern can only be reached by telephone on Wednesdays. Het huis was fantastisch, heerlijk ruim. We waren er met 4 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. De keuken is prima uitgerust. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de eet/leef tafel! We misten voor de skischoenen een (verwarmd)skischoenen rek om ze goed te kunnen drogen 's nachts. (In de ruimte van de wasmachine zou daar zeker plaats voor zijn)

geweldige woning het ontbreekt aan niets.
De woning was geweldig. Hij was schoon en het ontbrak werkelijk aan niets. Keukeninventaris was compleet, allerlei apparaten en een goed werkende wasmachine en droger.
Een heerlijk terras met fijne stoelen en stoelkussens.
We hebben geen op of aanmerkingen op deze woning alleen kunnen we onze lof uitspreken. Is aan iedereen aan te raden.

Goed en vriendelijk ontvangen door de receptie in het naastliggende hotel. De accommodatie is zeer compleet uitgerust en lekker ruim. Wel merkbaar dat het nu al enkele jaren in de verhuur zit en er geen jaarlijks nulpunt is qua inventaris. De omgeving is mooi maar tijdens de wandelingen loop je veel in de dennenbossen waardoor je minder wijdse uitzichten hebt dan in andere regio’s. De werkzaamheden waaraan gerefereerd is in de advertentie zijn op dit moment wel nadrukkelijk merkbaar. We hadden er op iedere werkdag van 7.15-19.30u last van omdat er precies achter de woning gebouwd werd. Na halverwege september zal je daar vast minder last van hebben aangezien er dan geen directe bouw meer achter de woning is.

De woning is schoon, ruim, voorzien van alles wat je maar nodig zoudt kunnen hebben. Wat jet laatste betreft: de keuken heel volledig, zo was er een weegschaal, maatbeker en allerlei dingen die je thuis hebt, maar lang niet altijd in vakantie huizen.
De kamers zijn allemaal ruim. De bedden zijn goed, alleen de kussens voor Nederlanders te slap. De badkamer is super. De douche beneden ook ruim.
WiFi ontvangst perfect. Meubilair comfortabel. Gewoon echt 5 sterren.

Er was niet echt een ontvangst we kregen bij de telefonische melding enige uren voor aankomst de code van het sleutelkastje en konden zo het huis is. Dat was okay. Alles was perfect in orde en alles wees zich zelf. Het huis is bijzonder goed voorzien van alles wat nodig is en meer. Zo waren er bijv. Een keukenweegschaal, toaster, maatbeker, föhn, strijkplank en ijzer. Noem maar op het was er. Verder is het een zeer lichte woning, comfortabel schoon en ruim. Ook met een groter gezelschap is het een comfortabel huis. Wij waren met zijn tweeën. Badkamer fantastisch. Slaapkamers allemaal met voldoende kastruimte. Bedden goed kussens voor Nederlanders wel slap. WiFi werkte perfect. We misten slechts een ding, maar wellicht keken we niet goed, er waren geen kussens voor de houten stoelen buiten. Die stoelen zitten goed, maar zijn wel hard na verloop van tijd. Er zijn geen Nederlandse tv kanalen. Wij vonden dat niet erg. Omgeving is heel mooi. Veel te sporten. Hou er wel rekening mee, dat door de hoogte het koud buiten kan zijn. Kouder dan in Trieben, dat maar 15 minuten verder ligt. Er worden nieuwe chalets dicht bij gebouwd. Bij aankomen zie je die bouwwerkzaamheden wel, maar we hadden er geen last van. Anders dan op de foto’s staat het chalet niet meer zo vrij. En het hout van buiten is behoorlijk verweerd en grijs geworden. Onder de carport werd onze auto wel nat van regen en smeltende sneeuw. De carport naast die van ons was wel droog. We vonden het wel over de top, gegeven de prijs van de woning, dat er voor bedlinnen en handdoeken extra betaald moest worden.

Luxe vakantie huis in een klein maar fijn skigebied. Prettige weg naar het huis je toe (slechts 2 haarspeldbochten), op loopafstand van het skigebied. De skiverhuur is slechts 2 minuten rijden of 30 minuten wandelen. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, heerlijke openhaard, fijne bedden en genoeg ruimte voor veel mensen. Een echte aanrader is de sleetocht vanaf de Edelrautehutte en daarna heel gezellig eten bij Pfahlbaudorf onderaan de berg!

Das Ferienhaus hat in allen Punkten unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Groß, modern ausgestattet, sauber - alles Perfekt, zumindest fast. Aktuell werden neue Häuser gebaut, direkt hinter dem Grundstück. Also Baulärm ab spätesten 7 Uhr, manchmal schon ab 6 Uhr, von Montag bis Freitag.

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in The Larchhouse in Hohentauern. Het huis was in één woord geweldig. Wat een ruimte, zowel binnen als buiten en alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. We kennen de omgeving al van vorige vakanties en het is niet voor niks dat we voor de derde keer in Hohentauern op vakantie zijn geweest.

De accommodatie was in alle opzichten perfect alles was er je kon niet opnoemen wat er niet was. Wij zijn hier 2cweken geweest met 2 gezinnen en hebben ons prima vermaakt. De omgeving is prachtig maar wil je naar een leuke stad is het ongeveer een half uur rijden maar goed te doen. Voor wandelen, mountainbike en vissen is alles binnen bereik van het huis. Al bij al een heel mooi huis waar je je goed kunt vermaken. Groetjes uit oldenzaal van 22 juli tot 5 augustus 2017 zijn wij er geweest

De accommodatie was in alle opzichten perfect alles was er je kon niet opnoemen wat er niet was. Wij zijn hier 2cweken geweest met 2 gezinnen en hebben ons prima vermaakt. De omgeving is prachtig maar wil je naar een leuke stad is het ongeveer een half uur rijden maar goed te doen. Voor wandelen, mountainbike en vissen is alles binnen bereik van het huis. Ferienhaus/Chalet sehr überzeugend, nett, sehr gut und passend eingerichtet, ausreichend Patz für 6 (bis 8) Personen Vorraum und unteres Bad waren leider nicht ausreichend gut geheizt (beheizbar), andere Räume waren gut beheizbar. Vor-Ort Service sehr freundlich und verlässlich. Großartige Wandermöglichkeiten, Schneebedingungen/Skigebiet waren nicht so toll - aber das ist zumindest teilweise dem Wetter geschuldet -). Wir kommen gerne wieder!
