Terrible check-in experience and poor organization
The location of the apartment in Piotrkowska
We had to wait almost two hours outside the apartment, in the cold and on the staircase, because the owner/agency had provided only one key in the lockbox, despite the door having two separate locks.
After approximately 45 minutes, two workers arrived with a crowbar and a drill but were unable to open the door. Only after several increasingly frustrated phone calls did someone from the agency finally arrive with the correct key. He showed up with an almost smiling attitude and, incredibly, did not even apologize for the situation. To make matters worse, he did not speak English, making communication even more difficult in an already unacceptable situation.
The check-in instructions were also incorrect: they stated that the entrance was at number 94, whereas the correct entrance is at number 92.
Furthermore, the apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, an important detail that should be clearly communicated to guests, especially those travelling with luggage.
The cleanliness and maintenance were disappointing as well. Behind the bed, which had a broken headboard, we found a pair of headphones and a tissue left behind by a previous guest, suggesting that the apartment had not been properly cleaned or inspected before our arrival.
The apartment's positive aspects are its spaciousness and its excellent location on Piotrkowska Street. Unfortunately, these advantages do not compensate for the terrible check-in experience, the lack of professionalism, the communication difficulties, the incorrect entrance instructions, and the inadequate cleaning standards.
Overall, I would not recommend this accommodation.
Guests should not have to endure almost two hours in the cold because of such poor organization and a complete lack of consideration for their time and comfort.
