Super clean and cosy.

Hygiene maintained by keeping walking shoes outside, also the place was brick and mortar unlike other properties en route that looked flimsy. Good choices were ascertained and then prepared accordingly so it was quite welcome.
The particular room allocated to us was smelling bad, possibly a dead rodent is the smell was from one corner of the room that was covered by furniture. We had informed the caretaker but no action to relocate or clear the issue was taken. I am presuming it was a one off case however if more reviews of the same kind show up then I would know.
We had booked two lake facing rooms but were given only one and the hotel compensated us for the deficiency. While that action is a mitigation, the purpose of lake facing was for photography and we had to go out in the night for the same. It was an avoidable situation.

I love mostly the atmosphere of the guest house, an old lady in traditional dress was running alone, checking in, out, tea, dinner, breakfast, everything. She gave me a room with a view on the pangong lake. I will post a few pictures. His husband (I suppose), too old for working, was also dressed in traditional clothing, maybe Tibetan, and in the evening he was playing with some Tibetan toys. If I can, I'll post a video. Great atmosphere there.
On the cons, some services were poor.
No hot water was not available from the tab, but she was available to heat a pan of hot water and bring it to the room. WiFi was not available, and Indian Airtel connection was very poor (but this last issues was not guest house fault).
To sum up, although some services were poor, I enjoyed my staying.
