We liked the brightness of the room (we were in room no. 1 the purple room in the listing photos), beautfiul natural light comes in room no. 1, the balcony doors are beautiful and work very well. The host was very responsive and showed that she cared to fix issues we had. The house is in a tiny private courtyard with zero traffic, extremely quiet. The shower water pressure was great. The hvac works well. Two nightstands were great - surprisingly not everyone provides 2 nightstands. House is In the heart of Vecchia Bari so walking through Vecchia is easy and amazing. Easy walk to Murat where we did laundry at Purewash Landromat. Easy walk to the sea. If you need Kitchen items there is a fridge and many kitchen supplies to share with the other guests. I liked there was a little light to turn on in on the main floor, so we didn't walk into a pitch-dark house. I very much liked that you have a key to your room to lock your door while you are in it and obviously when you are gone. The rooftop terrace is nice to sit and feel the sea breeze but only if your guest mate is not using it. When I went up there the other guest had left a huge mess of cups, wine corks, full ash tray, food that caused ants. There was a broom and dustpan up there so I swept the entire terrace and tried to spruce it up, that was disappointing to share a space with someone who would leave it like that when they know they are sharing the space with other people.
The courtyard has no lights, very hard to see anything outside the house at night, we used our cellphone flashlight. We did not like that the listing does not make it clear and furthermore eludes that you have the whole apartment to yourself, no it's a shared house. You share the main floor with the Kitchen/Dining Room and the Rooftop Terrace. The spiral staircase is rough. Getting your luggage up those stairs is an Olympic event. Barely any room for a landing to open your bedroom door and not fall down the staircase. You can hear your roommates very obviously. We felt like we had no privacy as your bedroom door is literally at the staircase. There were many problems when we first arrived, but the host was responsive and did show care in problem solving. The internet that is advertised on the listing might as well not be listed - we never had Wi-Fi the entire time. The shower is micro, if your claustrophobic, you're going to be in and out really quick. We were disappointed in the fact that when we got there, there was only half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, and when we reached out to the host, she said they would bring us one more roll but we needed to provide our own toilet paper after that, which we did go buy a pack of toilet paper. The bedroom floor had a lot of debris on it, but overall, I would give a good review on cleanliness.
