The Space:
Surrounded by mature pines and mountain views, this five-bedroom/four-bathroom Powder Ridge cabin offers a private ski-in/ski-out retreat in the heart of Big Sky. Located just minutes from Mountain Village Base Area and a one-hour drive away from Yellowstone National Park, this home combines direct access to the slopes within a peaceful alpine setting under the Big Sky.
Spanning 3,500 square feet, the cabin comfortably accommodates families and groups with three en suite bedrooms, ample gathering space on both the main and lower levels,, with a total of five well-appointed bedrooms, plus a bonus room with a pull-out couch.
Classic Montana craftsmanship is showcased throughout with hand-hewn logs, natural stone accents, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and expansive windows. The fully equipped kitchen features premium appliances, including a Wolf range and Sub-Zero refrigerator, making it easy to prepare everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners. The home also offers two living areas, both with two fireplaces, providing plenty of space to relax and unwind.
After a day on the mountain, soak in the private outdoor hot tub while taking in the surrounding forest and mountain scenery. The grill on the wrap-around deck is great for summertime cook-outs, with plenty of outdoor seating. Wildlife sightings are common, adding to the authentic Montana experience.
For larger groups, we manage the neighboring 5-bedroom cabin next door, as well as several other nearby properties.

The Neighborhood:
Located steps away from the Rosebud Access in Powder Ridge. Use groomed access trails to White Otter Lift. Suitable for all levels of skiers. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid-December, however the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid-April, prior to resort closing. The cabin is not ski-in/out when White Otter Lift is not running. Please inquire for details.
Ski Out:
Enter the trail to the side of your cabin by walking to the top of the driveway and getting on the access trail on your right next to Manitou 1. This is the Rosebud Access Trail. Follow the trail downhill to the White Otter Lift to load. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)
Ski In:
Follow Lower Morningstar to the FIRST set of Powder Ridge signs as indicated on the map. Exit here to skier’s left.
Follow below Challenger lift. At the first set of signs (Bozeman Trail/Cascade Lift/Rosebud Bridge/White Otter Bridge) you will stay left towards Rosebud Access/Bridge. The next set of signs (Cascade Lift/Little Thunder) stay left. The third set of signs (Rising Bull Access/Rosebud Bridge/Chief Gull Access) veer right. At the fourth set of signs (Rosebud Bridge/Chief Gull Access/Buffalo Hide Access) go right toward Rosebud Bridge. Exit the bridge skier’s right prior to crossing and carefully cross the road (Manitou Loop).
Getting Around:
We highly recommend that our guests rent a 4x4 vehicle during the winter months (October-May). Please be aware that shuttle services must be booked in advance, and rideshare options like Uber or Lyft are available at certain times, however having your own vehicle is required while in Big Sky.
Other Things to Note:
Parking: This unit can hold up to 2 vehicles: 1 parked in the garage, 1 in the driveway.
