About this house rental
This house is a two level house. The upper level can sleep up to 8 people, and the lower level can sleep up to 4 people. The levels are not accessible to each other.
Total renovation of Upper unit duplex sitting on 3/4 acres directly on the Indian River with a 2 minute walk through our privately owned property to a quiet, unpopulated beach. Imagine starting and ending each luxurious vacation day with a beach sunrise and a river sunset.
Guests have access to amazing pool, dock, kayaks and paddleboards. We also have beach chairs, umbrellas, etc for use at the beach!
150' boat dock for your pleasure. Boat launch or rental available a couple of miles away.
This amazing property and location is the best kept secret in Melbourne beach for those who find it!
Golf and dining options close by.
Storage closets are located underneath the deck on pool level. Your house code is the same code for the closet

Melbourne Beach — small, relaxed barrier-island town with dune-backed Atlantic shoreline, a town pier/park, and largely single-family homes. The vibe is low-key, family- and nature-oriented: surf and fishing are common, sea turtle nesting occurs seasonally, birding and paddling on the Indian River Lagoon are nearby (Pelican Island/Bonsteel Park area), and Sebastian Inlet State Park and its surf/fishing beaches lie a short drive south. Dining and nightlife are limited locally; for groceries, restaurants, pharmacies and larger services guests usually go to Indialantic or the Melbourne mainland (about 10–20 minutes by car).
Driving is the most practical option — A1A runs the length of the island and connects to the Melbourne Causeway to the mainland. The area is walkable for short trips (beach, pier, nearby parks) but not for full provisioning. Rideshare/taxi operate but availability can be patchy during off-peak times. Bicycle use is common for local trips; some parts of A1A have bike lanes and there are nearby multi-use trails. There is no local commuter rail or extensive public transit on the barrier island; regional bus service (Brevard County Transit) and intercity shuttles serve mainland Melbourne. Car rental is recommended for most visitors.
