The cottage combines classic Old Florida character with comfortable modern updates. Inside you'll find beautiful exposed wood ceilings, bright shiplap-style walls, updated flooring, comfortable furnishings and large windows that fill the home with natural light.

The fully equipped kitchen features updated white cabinetry, full-size appliances, coffee maker and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Enjoy breakfast or dinner around the dining table surrounded by windows and views of the property.

After a day on the lake, relax in the comfortable living room with a large TV, enjoy a game of pool, or gather around the home's unique freestanding fireplace.

Outdoor living

One of the best parts of staying here is enjoying the outdoors.

Step outside to the deck and patio area, where you'll find comfortable outdoor seating that's perfect for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation or unwinding after a day on the water.

Guests also have access to the property's dock on Lake June. Bring your fishing gear, spend the day on the water, or simply enjoy the peaceful lakefront setting.

Please note: Guests have dock access, but the boat lift is not included with the rental.

Boaters can use the public launch at Lake June Park, which the Town of Lake Placid confirms has a boat launch and beach area on Lake June, which is close by.

Bedrooms

The primary bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, bedside tables, large window and its own air conditioning unit for a comfortable night's sleep. The second bedroom features a bunk-style sleeping arrangement that's ideal for children, family members or additional guests and has it's own air conditioning unit as well.

Bathroom

The cottage has one full bathroom with a walk-in shower, pedestal sink and plenty of classic Florida cottage character.

The Lake June Experience

Lake June-in-Winter is one of the signature lakes in the Lake Placid area and is popular for boating, fishing and other freshwater recreation. Lake Placid itself has 27 freshwater lakes, making this an especially attractive destination for guests who want to spend their vacation on the water.

Guests bringing a boat have public launch access nearby, while those who don't bring one can still enjoy the lake from the property's dock.

Nearby Lake June in Winter Scrub Preserve State Park offers another side of Lake June, with preserved Florida scrub habitat and opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing and birding.

Downtown Lake Placid is also worth exploring. The town is known for its colorful outdoor murals, local shops and restaurants, and relaxed small-town atmosphere.

Guest Access

Guests will have use of the cottage, yard, outdoor patio/deck and dock.

Boat lift is NOT available for guest use.

Guests bringing boats should launch them at an appropriate public boat ramp.
