About this docked boat rental
About this space
Enjoy nature on the Mississippi & mod design in the cool NE
neighborhood near downtown. Walk to restaurants, coffee, bars,
brew pubs, clubs, art galleries. We've hosted hundreds of guests
at our Mississippi home. We now offer a 1970 Boatel in spring,
summer, fall. Safe access through our backyard. A shared dock.
Kitchen, two beds, bathroom, dining room, deck. A glorious
lighted bridge north & skyscrapers south. NOTE there are ice
cream trucks across the river w some minor noise as they park.
The space
2 full size beds. Private bedroom in back. Second pullout couch/
bed in the cabin room. Equipped kitchen. Bathroom with hot
shower and chemical toilet. Outside: covered deck with seating
front and back. A shared dock with seating. Charcoal grill.
Guest access
Along with the entire houseboat you can use the fire pit on shore.
This is a shared dock which moors our pontoon boat and
sometimes 1 or 2 other boats. We try to be quiet at later hours
when using the pontoon or other boats, but you may hear us.
Like a small marina there is some
activity. The area is also shared by ducks, geese, herons, bald
eagles, woodchucks, beavers and jumping fish. The backyard
behind our house is used by other occasional guests and our
dog Poe who likes to swim.
Other things to note
Use the charcoal grill on the shared dock or shore only. No
smoking in the houseboat or on either deck. Try to use water
sparingly. If you run out text us and we will fill the water tank.
