Cabin in Pocono Mountains, PA
Reasons to book
About this cabin rental
It is small on purpose. Easy to heat, easy to relax in, and everything you need is within a few steps.
THE SPACE
Two bedrooms, each with its own queen bed, plus a large couch in the living room. One full bathroom. Open living and dining area with a gas fireplace, and a full kitchen.
Central air keeps it comfortable in July, and the heat and gas fireplace do the job in January. Fast, reliable wifi throughout, so you can stream at night or take a call if you have to.
OUTSIDE
The hot tub is what most of our guests come for, and it is cleaned, balanced, and ready before you arrive. There is a fire pit for the evening and a grill for dinner. The lot is wooded and private, which is the whole point of coming up here.
THE KITCHEN
Fully equipped for real cooking, not just reheating. Stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a full set of cookware, dishes, and utensils.
COMMUNITY AMENITIES
Emerald Lakes is a private community and your stay includes access to it. That means the lakes, the community pool, and the pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts. It is a genuinely nice perk in the summer and it means the kids have somewhere to go besides the cabin.
WHERE YOU ARE
Long Pond puts you in the middle of the Poconos rather than off to one side.
Camelback Mountain is very close, which covers skiing and snowboarding in the winter and Camelbeach in the summer. Jack Frost and Big Boulder are close too. Blue Mountain is a little further out and worth the drive if you want a bigger day on the hill.
Kalahari Resorts, one of the largest indoor waterparks in the country, is only a couple of miles down the road. Great Wolf Lodge is a bit further if you want the other one.
Pocono Raceway is right here in Long Pond, so race weekends are an easy morning. Hickory Run State Park has miles of trails and the Boulder Field if you want to hike, and Mount Airy Casino is a short drive if the weather turns.
GOOD TO KNOW
Check in is 3:00 PM and check out is 10:00 AM. Access is by keypad, so no key handoff and no waiting around.
One full bathroom, so a group of five should plan accordingly. There is no washer or dryer on site. Trash goes in the bear box outside, and yes, that is a real requirement up here.
We are about 90 minutes away, but we have a local team on the ground. If something needs attention while you are here, tell us and it gets handled.
GREAT FOR
Couples and small families, ski weekends, race weekends, waterpark trips, and anyone who wants a hot tub, a fire, and a quiet place in the trees.
COMMUNITY RULES
Emerald Lakes requires all renters to register with the community before arrival. We send you a pre-filled link after booking; it takes about two minutes. If registration is not completed, the association fines the owner $100, and that fine will be passed on to the guest.
