Haile Village
Haile Village is a tree-lined, walkable neighborhood tucked into southwest Gainesville. Instead of staying along a commercial highway, you can walk from the house to locally owned restaurants, coffee, shops, parks, trails, and neighborhood events.
- Walk to coffee at Patticakes
- Walk to restaurants including Volcanic Sushi voted Gainesvilles best sushi spot
- Have a pint at Queens Arms Pub
- Stroll to the Saturday Haile Farmers Market, held every Saturday morning
- Access the Haile Loop and miles of walking and biking trails
- Parks, mature live oaks, and green space throughout the neighborhood
- Quick drive to Celebration Pointe and Butler Plaza
- 5 miles to UF Health Shands
- 6 miles to the University of Florida campus
- Convenient for Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and Gator weekends
The Haile Farmers Market is a neighborhood Saturday tradition with local growers, prepared foods, baked goods, plants, and makers lining the Village Center.
For walkers and runners, the three-mile Haile Loop winds through the community, while the Haile Plantation Urban Ecology Trail begins at the Village Center's koi pond and connects several trail segments through the neighborhood.
The University of Florida
The guesthouse works particularly well for University of Florida and medical stays without putting you in the middle of student housing or Archer Road traffic.
* University of Florida — approximately 5 miles
* UF Health Shands — approximately 6 miles
* Ben Hill Griffin Stadium — easy access for Gator weekends
* Celebration Pointe + Butler Plaza — a short drive away
Haile Village has also historically served as a game-day shuttle location for Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, although guests should verify current service and schedules before relying on it.
Guest access
The guesthouse is completely separate from the living space of the main home.
During your stay, you’ll have access to:
✔ The entire private guesthouse
✔ Private keyless entrance
✔ Enclosed courtyard
