Beautiful old world charm in a gloriously quiet location My room was in the house and although decor a bit twee I had a very comfortable 3 nights stay. I was a solo traveller and glad of that as would have been cramped. Excess bedding (pillows, blankets etc) immediately went into the wardrobe for additional breathing space. The bed and linens were lovely.
Communal fridge with cold water and kettle and coffee maker much appreciated
Breakfast was amazing! My best during my 20 nights on NS.

Exceptional breakfast. Lovely hosts. Great location with panoramic views of the Bay.
Didn't realize there would be stairs. Room was smaller than expected with limited drawer space for belongings, though plenty of closet space for hanging items.

Superb self catering accomodation right overlooking the coastline and countryside. The accomodation is split with a bedroom upstairs with a huge bed, and the remaining living area, kitchen and bathroom on the lower level. There is also a good balcony for just sitting and admiring the view, and hopefully the passing family of deer! The kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals, and the living area is also a good size with a separate dining table. Ideal location for visiting lots of Nova Scotia, and certainly close to many highlights. Joanna and Chris made you feel most welcome with hints and tips for visiting the area, thankyou to both of you (and to Tony) for a wonderful stay! Would not hesitate recommending, or booking again if visiting the area in the future.
