Great location!! Very friendly people.Kermit the dog was a sweetheart!!Could walk to all the lovely areas of the harbour front!! Really liked all of the information about Maud Lewis at the Visitor Information Centre. Truly enjoyed driving to the Replica of Maud Lewis’ home just outside of Figny on the Digby Neck, that Murray Ross made as a tribute to Maud. It was so interesting to speak with Murray about Maud as he could tell us about visiting Maud with his grandparents when he was a boy!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Come From Away BnB. The location was perfect and so easy to find after coming off the ferry. The parking was right next to the rooms, so very easy to access and bring our stuff into. We had a ground floor room with two beds that was so cute and comfy. The room was very clean and had lots of thoughtful touches and amenities. There are a number of excellent little restaurants within walking distance just up the road. (Be sure to make a reservation). We also enjoyed the lovely outdoor area after dinner. We sat and had a visit with some other guests and watched the sunset. Breakfast was in a beautiful little dining room and was delicious. We had coffee, OJ, waffles, bacon and fresh fruit… perfect way to start our day! I’d highly recommend this lovely little place for anyone travelling through Digby…. Be sure to say ‘hi’ to Kermit (the lovable golden retriever!).

We left early 6:30 and were not able to have breakfast. Even if we stayed later, the first seating for breakfast was booked. If you are not able to check in early (as in arriving off the ferry in Yarmouth) you will get the later breakfast anyway (9:30) which might interfere with your day's plans
The light in the hall was left on all night. I don't know why this would be necessary. Being an older house, and the door not fitting perfectly, there was a line of light all around the door which meant I had to wear eye shades to get any sleep because I'm light sensitive. I suggest bringing shades.
