Briarwood B&B is a real treasure. The rooms are richly and beautifully decorated, there are many comfortable sitting areas, and a beautiful huge garden. My bathroom was huge and very clean. The bed was also really good: I slept very well. My hosts were not at home when i arrived, but everything was perfectly arranged. Con was so nice and welcoming, and he gave me very good advice for dinner. He also prepared a delicious breakfast.
I enjoyed every detail. Visitors should be aware that there is a shoe-off policy, in case someone is uncomfortable with that (I wasn't).

My husband and I stayed overnight after touring Nova Scotia and before flying home. The Briarwood worked perfectly for our needs. A well appointed room, comfortable communal areas to hang out and beautiful well kept grounds. Restaurants close by for dinner. A filling breakfast and we were on our way - a 15 minute drive to the airport.
Our room was up some stairs . Could be an issue lugging a suitcase, but really wasn’t an issue for us.
