Beautiful and great location in the White Mountains.
There was nothing that I did not like.

Location was incredible. The building is so beautiful. You have good photo ops everywhere!
The furniture was very very old.

Good location for us: close to town and nearby trails and short drive to Kancamagus Scenic Byway. Our Studio w/ Kitchen would be perfect for an extended stay (we were only there 2 nights). The murphy bed initially put us off, but once we realized how to use the space, the room works well. Staff was pleasant, but not exceptional. Hotel was overall charming,
Our room was quite pricey. And we occasionally felt that the room was barely balancing "quaint" versus "cramped". Bathroom was a little small, but not terrible.

We liked the location.
No heat, no housekeeping and noise from room above.
