The staff were friendly and the room was large enough for us.
No microwave in the room and the free breakfast did not have one item on it that a diabetic (Type II) could eat. It seemed that they were more interested in selling the breakfast buffet at their restaurant.

The bed slept amazing I slept like a baby, Indoor/Outdoor pool was great, the breakfast was good, I'm glad the pool was indoors because my husband can't handle the heat. I was happy the pool was available 24 hours. The room was great! I enjoyed having a balcony.
I do wish we would've had access to a microwave in the room. No other complaints

The location was good.
We paid an additional $45 for a room with a balcony and did not get one. Staff told us there were none available, they have repeated issues with ppl making their reservation through booking.com and requesting specific accommodations that are not available and they could not provide a refund. This would have to be done through booking. I am awaiting a response from customer service currently.
Additionally, when my family and I returned from being gone most of the day, upon entering our room there was a strong odor of marijuana present in the room. It appeared housekeeping had changed our trash and brought additional towels while we were out. I called the front desk to report this with no answer. When I went to the front desk to let them know we were assured it was not the housekeeper and had to come from outside the room while the housekeeper had the door propped up while “cleaning” our room. This was the only time we smelled this during our entire stay. Was in our room and did not come from us. Never smelled it outside the room. Was told it is also a repeated problem and there was nothing they could do.
The hotel was also outdated, not the cleanest, and multiple areas of the property were damaged, such as peeling on the walls, dirty floors, broken lamp, trash overflowing in the common areas/stairwells and lobby, luggage cart was also falling apart. Just to name a few things. Door locked but did not appear to fully close as light would come through the crack of the door as well as the window, which made sleeping less comfortable. There were also several staff members that we encountered that did not look or behave very professionally. Difficult to track down in a timely manner at the front desk, restaurant, and bar.
