Inspection nightmare

The best part was the staff . They were available and very nice , also doing their best to accommodate, given what there was to work with..

Location for the function of the campus was the nicest part. The building is outdated, okay. The details here, the TV barely worked. The air-conditioning had what appeared to be mold on the coils. There were no screens, so leaving the window open, given it was a comfortable night, not an option. It smelled like a fresh cigar, which we were able to air out. Which tells you someone smoked in the room of the non-smoking building recent to our arrival. We were awake early, just not comfortable scratchy sheets. I luckily packed pillow cases. Went to get coffee and snacks @5a, non-paying "visitors" of sketchy nature were helping themselves to the coffee and set up snacks. So, at the time we got there, it was all almost gone. So your customers are paying to feed the streets. The showers 2 temps scalding or ice. Just a place to lay your head, don't expect a proper shower, safe breathing with a.c., and no basic coffee or "continental" foods. I have traveled. I am no frills type. Hotels are for sleeping, especially in Waco, TX. The price 125/night . Was what we got worth a chain super8, which I thought would be easy midline safe, it is not. The emergency doors were broken , so they were not fire safe either. Again, the staff were friendly and kind and doing their best with what was available to them. The problems are above them. There is no general safety or comfort here.

Location

It smelled like people smoke in the hallways, refrigerator leaked water on the floor causing all our clothes to get wet. I checked out and went somewhere else.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. I’ll return.

It was located in a great spot in the city. Everything was pretty clean, a few crumbs on the floor but 5 minutes of being there the cleaning crew came to sweep. They were on it without me even complaining. Very on top of things!

The only thing that I didn’t like was that I constantly had problems with the internet. Eventually I gave up on it and just used my own data plan from my phone. Very bad Wi-Fi unfortunately!

The bottom sheet would not stay on the bed.

Basic rooms, but clean and comfortable.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was small, but very clean. Shower was excellent.

Needs more electrical outlets for electronic stuff. Only had a laptop and phone, but had to unplug a lamp to charge both.

Never stay again

The breakfast was the only enjoyable thing about this stay.

Food was left in the fridge. The bed was uncomfortable the TV size and selection was horrible and the police presence when I arrived to check in. The amount of people entering a d leaving the the fire exit door. And the smell of Marijuana. Definitely wasn't worth the money

Decent, not the best staff.

The room size was enormous. Not to mention the bug bed

No dead bolt lock, no chain lock, the floor was sticky, the receptionist gave us the wrong WiFi password, nd wasn't told anything about the breakfast.

Pleasant

Breakfeast & location was fine. The outside of the hotel was nice & inside was nice to.

The price was a little to high & they cable service was not good at all !!.

It was a good rate, location, I had a quiet night, wifi available for free, no cigarette smell or pet hairs in bed, clean towels

I think TV is important to relax, but the was not channels available to watch

Check-in was a big strange, but the customer service person did apologize. They didn't have enough cash on hand to make change for the vending machines, but the customer service person did apologize.

Kinda scary people around and unprofessional looking and acting staff.

We got to breakfast at 8:30 and almost everything was gone and were told they would not refill because breakfast ended "soon".

The area was a rough neighborhood. It was so close to the interstate that the sound was deafening in the room. The staff was not helpful when we asked for syrup to be refilled. It was 30 min before breakfast ended and were told to eat whatever was left.
