Summit Hotel at Big Sky Resort

Location was great very scenic. Food was available there which was nice. Music and close to court area which is helpful.

We ate at the hotel restaurant. Service was great very helpful and polite but ateaks did not come out as asked. Was looking for medium on both and got well done on a $60 dollar steak and rare on a kids sirloin. So did not feel like we got our value from food. Parking. For convenience of having my own vehicle I have to pay a valet fee to have my vehicle within reach, or I use free parking which is a ten minute walk away from the hotel. There is a parking lot right below the hotel that has a bus and two cars in it for the two days we were there with at least 30 spaces. If that was a $25 parking fee for those spaces you would be 2 minutes from your room it would accommodate the place very nice for people who want immediate access to their vehicle.

Can’t beat the location. Renovated spa facilities - love the outdoor hot tub and pool

Steam shower doesn’t really work

Clean, well designed, and close to the slopes. Free parking is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. Spa is gorgeous and well maintained. I saw my friend’s suite which included a kitchenette and it was very well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, and a full size fridge, small dishwasher, stove and microwave.

For a four star ski resort, the hotel is lacking in practical amenities - a ski locker room, adequate shelving/hooks in the bathroom, and no microwave or tea kettle. There are some other frills like a complimentary sample martini and turn down service, but I would have preferred basic amenities to be in place first. Shuttle to the parking lot would be nice. Food was WAY overpriced. $7 for shitty drip coffee from Peaks restaurant. The Nespresso machine was better.

Location was phenomenal. Ski valet, the team at the rental shop and every bellman were absolutely charming, friendly, helpful and kind.

Rooms were a disappointment. The bed was tremendously uncomfortable. The rooms seemed barely serviced throughout the stay.
